HATO Polyurethane is a moisture cured polyurethane finish for dried wood. It produced by special polyurethane resin, clear hi-gloss, good flexibility, high impact strength, chemical & heat resistance, highly resistant to scratch and abrasion. Suitable for all kinds of wood coating application such as parquet, indoor wood courtyard and wood furniture that is exposed with sunlight occasionally, especially areas near window and balcony

New Surfaces Use sandpaper to sand the wood surface until smooth
Fill all wood crack and hole by filler
Sand again until the smooth surface is obtained
The surfaces must be clean and free of dirt, grease, oil, wax, salt, and other contaminants
Old Surfaces Loose material must be removed by stiff brush
The surfaces must be clean and free of dirt, wax, salt, old paint, and other contaminants
  • Surfaces must be dry and free from dirt, grease and other contaminants, polish the surface with sandpaper to enhance better adhesion.
  • Brush: For the first coat dilute with HATO Urethane thinner TUT100 15-20% by volumn and 10% for the subsequent coats, recommended applying 2-3 coats.
  • Spray gun: Dilute with HATO Urethane thinner TUT100 20% by volumn, recommended applying 2-3 coats.
  • Allow at least 6-8 hours to dry before recoating. Complete dry is about 24 hours.
  • Do not use any primer such as shellac, varnish or lacquer
